PM Modi reaches Japan to attend Annual Bilateral Summit

Prime Minister will attend an informal lunch hosted by his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe in the Yamanashi Prefecture on Sunday.

He is also scheduled to visit the automation and robotic firm FANUC in the industrial city facing Mount Fuji.

Later, Prime Minister Modi will also attend a private dinner hosted by his Japanese counterpart Abe at his second home in Yamanashi. Both the leaders will travel by train to Tokyo the same night.

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official engagements will begin with a community reception by the Indian diaspora at Tokyo.

Prime Minister Modi will also meet the heads of Japanese venture capital companies and captains of Japanese industry, which will be followed by a meeting with the representatives of the India-Japan Business Leaders Forum.

On Monday evening, Prime Minister Modi will be accorded the ceremonial welcome by the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Delegation level talks and joint statements will follow.

Soon after his arrival in Tokyo on Saturday for the annual India-Japan bilateral summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with members of the Indian community in Japan.

Members of Indian community in Japan are very excited for PM Modi's visit to Japan. Expressing their happiness they said that this visit would take India-Japan relations to new heights.
