Comic-Con: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Series Confirmed!
During the Marvel Studios presentation at Comic-Con, it was confirmed that Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are reprising their roles as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes in the Disney+ original series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The two appeared onstage together with Cap’s shield!

John Wick creator Derek Kolstad joined the writing/creative team of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, though details are still under wraps, but it seems likely to follow up on Falcon’s new status quo after Avengers: Endgame.
Mackie and Stan are not the only MCU veterans coming back for the miniseries. Daniel Brujl was confirmed to reprise Helmut Zemo, a vengeful Sokovian operative in Captain America: Civil War. Emily VanCamp is also likely to return but has not been confirmed. VanCamp originated the role of Sharon Carter in Captain America: The Winter Soldier before reprising her part in Civil War. Neither character has appeared onscreen since 2016.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier may only run for six episodes, but it will connect with the larger MCU. It’s expected to hit Disney+ in August 2020.
