Comic-Con: Steven Universe The Movie trailer released
Cartoon Network has released the official Steven Universe The Movie trailer, which premiered during the movie’s panel at this year’s Comic-Con. You can check out the trailer now in the player below, as well as a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the animated feature (via io9)!

Introducing the Crystal Gems! Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl… and Steven. Steven might not know how to use the magical powers that come out of his bellybutton, but that doesn’t stop him from joining the Gems on their magical adventures!
In Steven Universe The Movie, Steven comes back to earth hoping to pick back up his life with the Crystal Gems, but trouble looms suddenly from a mysterious figure.
In the trailer, Steven has grown up a little as the events take place two years after the last Stevenbomb. The animated character is now sporting a new neck and look as well as a new role in a world that has been altered by the introduction of Gemkind.
The outlet shared that the panel debuted a new song, “True Kinda Love,” from Estelle and Zach Ellison that is currently streaming on Spotify.

Steven Universe The Movie will premiere on Cartoon Network on September 2.
