Back home, President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Sprinter Hima Das for winning 5 Gold medals in a month in international competitions.
Both the President and the Prime Minister expressed hope for a glorious performance in coming years.
Hima Das claimed her fifth gold of the month, as she returned to her pet 400m competition, with a season-best time of 52.09 seconds in Nove Mesto in Czech Republic.
It was Hima's fifth gold medal since July 2, when she ran her first competitive race in Europe.
