The 2020 Padma honours were announced and filmmaker Karan Johar has been conferred with The Padma Shri award for excellence in art.

Karan has directed some iconic films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. His production house Dharma Productions, continues to deliver meaningful content.
