In a major initiative to explore possibilities of collaboration, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting on Tuesday organized a Special Interactive Session with President of Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, John Bailey in New Delhi.
The interactive session presented an opportunity to further enhance outreach of the International Film Festival of India and explore possibilities of collaboration with the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences for the Golden Jubilee edition of IFFI which will be organized if Goa in November, 2019.
Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati, Central Board of Film Certification Chairman Prasoon Joshi and acclaimed filmmaker Rahul Rawail were also present on the occasion. I&B secretary Amit Khare said that the forum presents an opportunity for regional talents to showcase their talent to the world.
Central Board of Film Certification Chairman Prasoon Joshi said that film making has become quite easier these days due to technological advancement.
President of Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences John Bailey hailed India's unity in diversity.
While giving vote of thanks to all the dignitaries, Additional Director General of Directorate of Film Festivals, Chaitanya Prasad invited Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, President John Bailey to send experts for Master Classes for the Golden Jubilee edition of IFFI which will be organized if Goa in November, 2019.
Earlier, Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences president, John Bailey also met I&B Secretary, Amit Khare.
